July 26 I caught; area creamed colored Silt, Somewhat packed to hardness, mottled over by light tan windblowable Sand. Sarcobatus major plant. 8 mi. E + 1 mi. N Juno, 4200 ft., Humboldt Co., Nev. 2 caught on light gray, windblowable Sand dunes up to 4 feet in height. Only occasional spots where cream- colored silt was exposed as a relatively hard spot. Sarcobatus + Artemesia major plants. July 27 8 mi. S Sulphur, 4350 ft., Pershing Co., Nev. 10° hillside slope. Artemesia growing on hard, small-rock-strown, ground; two caught. Slope South-facing. July 28 3 mi. SW Vernon, 4300 ft., Pershing Co., Nev. 1 caught in area of light tan silt. Small angular rocks few. Sarcobatus + Artemesia present. Terrain flatish. Drainage to East.
