July 2 One specimen obtained near fence constructed
of barbed wire and rock cobbles size of one's
head. Terrain flat; edge of grassy meadow.
Trap had been set near a clump of wild rose
10 feet in diameter. Farm house 1/4 mi. south.
Truckee River 100 yards [illegible] east.
