Smiley 1936 Microdipodops sp. (Cont.) 8mi. E + 1mi. N Juno, 4200ft., Humboldt Co., Nev. July 26 3 caught on wide expanse of broad rolling sand dunes, light gray in color. Occasional hard spots of cream-colored silt exposed. Dunes up to four feet in height. Plants: Sarcobatus & Artemisia - July 28 3mi. SW Vernon, 4300ft., Pershing Co., Nev. One caught on poor ground - light tan silt with little sand admixture. Terrain flattish - drainage to East. 6-inch angular rocks not abundant. Sarcobatus & Artemisia present. July 29 21mi. W + 2mi. N Lovelock, 4000ft., Pershing Co., Nev. Four caught on dunes of light grey, windblowable sand up to 15 feet in height. Terrain upon which dunes set with slight westward drainage. Sarcobatus & Artemisia present.
