April 4, 1938. ♀118,119 (no emb.) along banks of wash thru granite hills.(cholla, ocotillo, creosote). April 5,1938. ♂ and ♀ caught in granite hills among ocotillo and cholla. 100±ft., Cerro Prieto, 6 mi. nw Punta Peñasco, Sonora. April 7,1938. ♀131,♀132,and ♂133 taken in dark lava rocks of rock-hill (some ochotillo and cholla). 1400+ft., 1 mi. ne Senorta, Sonora. April 10,1938. ♂142,♀143,and ♀144 caught among saquero, pitayo, ocotillo, palo verde, and cholla. The ♂142 (small) at first thought to be P. crinitus, but Dr. Benson decided not after looking at the skull and comparing it with other Peromyscus. 1775+ft., 8 mi. s San Luis, 34 mi. nw Caborca, Sonora. April 12,1938. ♂152,153 and ♀154,156 taken among palo verde, creosote, saquero, pitayo, ocotillo, and others of this heaver than desert floor vegetation. April 13,1938. 4 ♂'s taken in area adjacent and similar to that of yesterday.
