Nothing but bait in pouches. 675±ft., Cerro Colorado, 28 mi. W. Sonota, Sonora. 3 m.s. march 30, 1938 Three (3 Ø 5; nothing in pouches) taken in sand among mesquite and creosote. Outside mesquite area in creosote and sand two more taken in live-traps; turned loose. 50±ft., Cerro La Cholla, 6 mi. WNW Punta Peñasca, Sonora. april 3, 1938. Ø 115 taken in crushed-granite between granite-hills and sand among ocotillo, creosote, and cholla. (Cheek-pouches empty.) april 4, 1938.
