Set 44 mousetraps on rocky-soil hill among very light brush and very short (30-40mm) grass. At the ranch we made another Bovell-bat trap by stretching wires close to the surface of an 8ft. square(2yd.+deep) rock-cement water tank. Señor Delgadillo caught most of the bats while Dr. Benson and I were looking for bats at an abandon house and after we had retired. The bats† were put in cloth-bags as before for safe-keeping until morning.
