We took off again for vulcan San Martin:
from Catamarco head west on Hwy 150 toward
Alvarado. The road goes as follows.

drove in as follows.

we drove about 5 km. in, then
walked another 6 hours - probably
about 8 km. to the beginning of the rain forest.
Along the way, the area has been totally
cleared of forest, and is all pasture and
corn fields. There are nice patches of forest
on some steep hills, but we did not
