I used the pick on the bank, i got 7 Thorius in about 10 minutes - all within 4 inches of the surface, in moist dirt. I also chipped some rock, with no luck. Carlos + Renee got another 29 Thorius under logs in the woods. We then back trucked along the road to Hwy. 150, and headed E. to Puerto del Aire. Again walking logs + bank, we got 41 Thorius, but no Pseuds. This area was very moist, with heavy fog drip while we were there. Vegetation was pine-oak woods, with considerable undergrowth, and plenty of logs and rocks. Also, the trees often had many bromeliads, and I knocked ~ 8 off of one oak.
