We quit & went across the river (rio Barillas) to a pond to get Rana pipiens. It is basically across the river from the center of town, although it is a good walk if you go over the bridge. We found a small pool ~ 8 ft. across + 6 ft. deep w/ lots of frogs. I shot 2 with the slingshot & we bought some tadp (20 /50 cents) & came home. Also, before we went frogging, we headed out to Finca La Florida, across 2 mi. NE. Barillas on the road to Chiblas. We worked a coffee field for quite a while - I got one Bolitoglossa mulleri; Paul none. We also caught 6 Ninia selbae & one Adelphicus I think.
