25 June San Juan Ixcay, Huehuetengo, Guat.
near the stream & rex higher up, although
the separation isn't great.
mostly rex
mostly rostrata -> Ix coy
creek
We also found several Barisia
moreletti, primarily under stores, & some kips,
and 1 or 2 small Sceloporus. We stopped
for lunch at Tojquia - a very small
town on the high plain (~12,000 ft.).
A fine meal of rice soup, potatoes, chicken
and tortillas. ($50 total) & we went on
to Todos Santos.
Todos (~10 miles).
Santos -> Ix coy
Paguix
The road out of Paguix is steep but
quite passable; we want all the way to
Todos Santos, then came back and rested.
