Durham took us up by boat which was neat-
saw monkeys, a Guan, etc. & headed to San Jose.

Vicinity Puntarenas, Prov. Puntarenas, C.R.
Doug Robinson told me about a good place
for Bolitoglossa striatula, so we headed there. The
locality is near the town of Barranca at the Los
Robles railroad station. Take the Pan Am Hwy
west to the Puntarenas turnoff, then in on the
road to the railroad station- the striatula are
supposedly on the reeds at night.

I looked on 2 different occasions & found
nothing, but it was extremely dry in all of
Puntarenas + Guanacaste Provinces. We did locate
a small breeding pond for Hylids- I got 2 different
species, & there was a ground Rnrid that I missed.
