Journal. Cahuita, Prov. Limon. 11-13 sept. of hours. Also, on a low coconut branch about 20 ft. from the ocean, I got an Imantodes in a tree. That was all for that night, although I heard a good frog chorus near town. On the 12th we went down to the actual National Park of Cahuita. It is a point with a coral reef & white sand beach - really a beautiful place. While walking along the beach, Ameiva quadrilineata were abundant, as were Basiliscos vittatus. I took 1 Arolis & 2 gekkonids from a couple of trees, I saw many more which I missed. I imagine the area is good for lizards, but I wanted to respect the park boundaries as much as possible. We headed back in the afternoon, ate, & planned to go out at night. That night we went back to the swamp where the chorus was going on. S. ocean Cahuita Limon bridge swamp.
