April 9 chiopensis but we know that this is not the case
with humilis.
Other birds in the area were:
Caloutta formosa - abundant - much more so than at Pards'
Social flycatcher - nest in BHA near stream.
Darky flycatcher - fairly common. nest in BHA
Squirrel cuckoo - several
Aratinga - a few passed thru
Thryothorus pleurostictus - common
3 species Kingfisher - Megaceula aleyna was one,
small one or large are like we took at Rancho
Orcony = torquata.
Trogon mexicanus - 2 pair ?
Becard - common
Peterson periculatus - common
Beardless flycatcher - few
Turkey vulture
Cacocara
Spotted sandpiper 2
Northern waterthrush - 1
yellow warbler - several
ground dove
a large dove - seldom
Crotophaga - common
Lureo sp. - common - migrant?
