March 29 3 mi. SS W Tonalá, Chia, Mexico - Following
plants visited by C. chiapensis around camp.
1- Mango - a large tree.
2- Small tree with a oval gourd-like fruit "Hicará"
3- low vine-type shrub.
4- Bull-horn acacia from the next tree.
5- Medium sized tree.
6- Small tree
7- Tree. "Guamechal" or "guamuche"
8- Viney tree
9- Plant
10- Large tree just over fence in field between the two nests.
In addition to plants collected there are several very
large guanoearla trees in the mass of vegetation fre-
guented by the wrens. Also some palms of several types
in neighboring trees but these are not used by the wrens
we are watching.
