Took two photos (4-1, 4-2) of the nest tree of
the humilei-like lizards and also two close-ups
of the nest tree (4-3, 4-4).
Of the two humilei-like lizards seen today - one
seemed lighter brown than the other, particularly on
the lower back or rump and around the eye.

Rode out to the Río Amatillo, 2 mi. NW Tonala' and
hunted SW of the road. Heard chispensis singing,
but no evidence of humilei noted. We then drove SW
from Tonala' on the road to the Rancho El Hujsachal
and made a stop at the Rancho San Francisco, 2 mi.
SW Tonala', where we collected two chispensis and
heard several other groups. The vegetation at this
point is similar to that around camp but somewhat
more lush. No evidence of humilei.
