SSW Tonala' March 23 Song heard from one lone bird "chan - qua - ca" "chan-qua-ca" given in this tempo 1 ♪♩ 1 ♪♩ Three birds sang together while perched a few inches apart on a dead limb. All birds fanned out the tail while singing. Moved through the tree top slowly and sang once while moving. This morning several birds are working on a nest above and a foot to the east of the big nest in which 5 birds roosted last night. Can hear a bird calling "qua - qua - qua" and "qua". Noted a pair on the ground moving by long hops - something like a Robin?; The wings are held below the tail, this tail is slightly cocked, and the head and neck are held upright, more vertical.
