3.5 mi. W Tonalá'
an old, battered nest in another acacia 1/2 feet
away from the other nest-tree.
The nest of this species is bulkier than that of
drummerisfullus and there is less of a distinct
taper from the nest proper to a tunnel entrance.
5.5 mi. W Tonalá' - Pair chispensis in dead
tree by road.
Drove on to Paredon, a fishing village at the sea,
which is 10.5 mi. from Tonalá'. Noted a willet and
several laughing gulls.
4 mi. from Paredon on road to Tonalá' - Searched a short
tree in dry fields without finding worms. Owner of
ranch knew both typos, however, and claimed that
they nest in June.
