Drajuato, Guanajuato to Dxtlan de Sal
June 12 Spent last night in hotel and all of today at Lambi's studying his note book. Got thru his recent records - all but a year which Moore has - and most of records from 1941-on.
$ Spent night at Lambis. He gave me three boxes of birds to be sent to Moore Collection. Also I took a tray of wrens which I am buying from Lambi. He wants $1.25 each.
June 13 Drove thru Queretaro, Acambay, etc. To Dxtlan de la Sal.

June 13 Took picture of oak-manguita woodland. This neg. is on the low hills in this area while the valleys are barren except for a few small cattle. Possibly gularis is in oak. At Acambay you enter the northern part of the Toluca Valley after passing thru some good oak woodland. The northern part of the valley is in farming or pasture and is similar to the southern portion. Absolutely no habitat for wrens. Stayed at hotel in Dxtlan de la Sal.
