August 13 15 mi. N Cuernavaca, 8900 ft., Morelos, Mexico.—Obtained a juvenile and saw many others (juveniles and adults). Fairly common in bunches beneath pines and in smaller oaks (see account of Pipilo erythrophthalmus).
