August 7 2 mi. S Coatepec, 3700 ft., Veracruz, Mexico. - Collected a male in a large tree in a stand of coffee bushes.
Only individual of this species seen. No calls heard.
Specimen in fresh plumage. [illegible] (1951)
says it was showing been taken by them only in
southern Veracruz. Lamb says he has taken it
in San Luis Potosi.
