August 21 Pie de la Cueta, 20 ft., Guerrero, Mexico - a few & 4 seen, especially near marsh place at edge of leguna.
August 23 Shot a female perched in mangrove tree near marsh at the edge of the leguna - but could not retrieve the bird. Several & 4 seen flying around marshy area - just across the road from our living room at the end of the leguna. Birds generally silent - rather active - not sedentary; fly long distances when disturbed.
August 24. Flock & + .10 (6 4 4) in meadow, ; one & ad. shot in marshy area near leguna. Rather common, but localized in distribution.
August 26 Several adults noted.
