R.K.Selander, 1952 Icterus (graduacauda ?) August 7 2 mi. S Coatfres, 3700 ft., Veracruz, Mexico. - Common in the stands of large trees to the northwest of camp. Excited by my squeaking. Frequent higher portion of the trees. Easily collected. Notes given include a short whistling song followed by a soft, nasal "cheu". Not observed in the coffee or banana trees. A single specimen collected.
