K. Selander, 1952 Octeria spurium Aug. 25 "Montosa" Island, 20 ft., Laguna Coyuca, Guerrero, Mexico.- Large flock (50±) flying about the island in dense trees. One male taken. Aug. 28 Two birds in short palm trees about our jungle. Have a nasal "cha" note sounding a bit # like notes of C. humilis. [See next page, also]
