Selander, 1952 4 Campsylorhynchus brunnicephillus July 24 4 mi. NW Irapuato, 5700 ft., Guanajuato, Mexico. Call heard frequently. When I squeaked, the wren often became excited and uttered a number of different notes, difficult to record. No actual song heard.
