Centhia familiaris
August 15 15 mi. N Cuernavaca, 8900 ft., Morelos, Mexico. - One bird climbing trunk of oak tree, about 10 feet above ground. Oak covered with moss. Bird well concealed against the bark. Shot the bird on first sight, so no opportunity to record any possible peculiarities in behavior. Specimen looks ventrally than races with which I am familiar (i.e. western U.S. races).
