.K.Selander, 1952 Empidonax traillii Aug. 23 Pie de la Cuesta, 20 ft., Guerrero, Mexico - Few noted in broad-leaved trees back from the edge of the leguna - Took a specimen in mangrove tree near the leguna. Aug. 23 Noted again today - Aug. 24 General. Prefer lower branches of the larger trees; especially in drier situations - not so much in mangroves. Most frequently seen in trees in meadow dry grazing area & not uncommon. Mide somewhat similar to that of E. traillii of n. Utah. Aug. 26 Specimen taken from branch of tree about 2 feet above the ground in a meadow. Aug. 28 Rather common.
