August 21 Pie de la Cuesta, 20 ft., Guerrero, Mexico - 3 noted (singly) in mangrove at edge of laguna.
August 23 One watched as it perched on mangrove trunk (horizontal) near edge of the water. These birds are rather wary - will retreat into mangroves if disturbed.
Aug. 25 "Montosa" Island, sea level, Laguna Coyuca, Guerrero Mexico -- on sun along beach.
Aug. 26 Pie de la Cuesta, 20 ft., Guerrero, Mexico - one noted.
