K.Selander, 1952 Trogon citreolus aug.27 Pie de la Cuesta, 20ft., Guerrero, Mexico.- Two seen sitting motionless on lower branches of a large tree in a pasture. One shot. Apparently prefer rather dark places, especially over standing water. aug.28 Two together in trees in a shady spot above standing water (ie. small pond in the trail). Very inert and rather reluctant to fly even when I approached in rather plain view.
