August 24 Pie de la Cueta, 20 ft., Guerrero, Mexico - Two seen. larger than S. sinca - Tail pointed; general coloration rufous. In trees in drier places; very wary.
Aug. 26 Four seen today. Uniform grayish coloration, pointed tail. Must be a species of ground dove. Frequent drier areas.
