August 24 Pie de la Cuesta, 20 ft., Guerrero, Mexico - a flock of 4 to 5 small sandpipers flew past me just after I had taken the specimen of Phalaropus fasciatus. Had contrasting dark and light patches in the wings. About size and proportions of Eremopterus mauri.
