August 23. Piede la Cuasta, 20ft., Guerrero, Mexico. - A reddish.
wading bird, probably of this species, perched in tree
top with 5 Mycteria americana. As I have no
binoculars I can not be sure [absolutely] of this identification,
but bird was decidedly reddish. Flaw off in company
with M. americana after I had approached to within
30 yds.
