20 May Dysentery.
21 May Dysentery. Managed to purchase Lomotil at the lobby of the Hotel, thus allowing me to go out night-driving tonight. Saw a ARA lyre snake and C. stramineus N of El Triunfo.
It's been cold every night since our return from the Loreto and Santa Rosalia areas. We originally left La Paz to go north because we had only gotten 10 of 17 nocturnal species here. It had been warm. Now, weirdly, it's cold, and very little activity is observed.
22 May Woke at 0600 to take Doris to the airport. Returned to the airport at 1230 to meet Linda Lee, but she didn't get off the plane. Inquiring at the Aero México counter, I learned that she lacked the proper documentation and that she would arrive in two days. Went night driving and caught a single live Trimeresurus N El Triunfo. Returned La Paz; another cold night.
23 May Dysentary Relapse. Slept a lot today. With the aid of Lomotil managed to night-drive. For a change, I took the paved road N of La Paz which branches off Mex Hwy 1 near El Centenario and goes to San Juan de la Costa. It's only paved 15.7 mi,
