Seib, R. 1985 La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico 19 May Woke at 0900 with a crushing headache. Took Codeine and drank bouillon soup and my head felt better. Went to town and purchased a one-way plane ticket for Paris for 22 May, Wednesday, for 143 dollars. Also I went to the old El Sombra trail part on Calle Colima (now paved) to find some of Rudy Velez' kids. I needed to get some Pigos yiporos for Ted Pepan fuss. I found a lady who thought I was crazy, but she did say the boys would be back about 1900. Stayed by the pool until 1830 then went back to the Velez's. The only boy left was Gustavo who is now 21 yr old. He didn't want to dig, but said he would take me to the Riveras (?) tomorrow at 1600. We might drive to Mrid Flores, about 85 mi, then raced back to La Paz. Saw only a Dor C. stramineus S of San Antonio and a Dor Tmorphaeden on the way back S of Buena Vista. Back at the hotel we talked until 0300 and decided against setting the alarm for 0600 to go south to noose Petasaurus and visit the beach at La Rivera.
