Nopolo to Isla Cetalang, Baja California Sur, Mexico
14 May 5 Uta in the 10 min. Doris fell off the boat trying to land on the island. She was not hurt. We spent the next 1/2 hr drying her boots, socks and jeans out. However, when we arrived at a cayou on the E side of Cetalang we had to jump into the water and get our boots wet anyway. I wanted to visit this site because I had heard of the palm trees there. One has to hike about 500 m up a canyon to get there. The palms were burned at one time. I saw (uemidophoras [typis-litro]) and Uta. I really only managed to incur a great dehydration headache. We headed back to the West end of the island. Doris fell into the gulf again attempting to climb into the boat. Again, she spent several hours drying out. On the W end of the island there are many cayous or bays with beaches. When we arrived at the bay that Ted & I had visited years ago I could see that it was a good site: Much open ground and sand. However, Antonio had his own ideas and decided to push further south because of the many pauges and fishermen on this beach. He pulled
