Seib, R. 1985 La Paz to Isla Cerralvo, Baja California Sur, Mexico 9 May Phyllodactylus Leptotyphlops humilis Geosaura hemilopha Dipsosaurus dorsalis Sator (nemidophorus hyperythrus) Isla Cerralvo to La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico 10 May Leaving El Sargeato, we picked up 4 DOR Piposaurus (and saw others) and a DOR rotten Pituiaphis vertebralis on BC 136. Night driving produced 14 saotres, mostly around San Pedro. Mostly the usual Leptotyphlops and Chilomeniscus but tonight we picked up an adult DOR (crotalus mitthelli; C.T) mi N El Trionto and two of the unusual copperbean Phyllorhynchas. We're up to 10 nocturnal species for the area south of La Paz. Still missing C. ruber & C. puya, Lichonura, Elaphe, Sauara, Tantilla, Eridiphos. La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico 11 May Another cooling night with rather boring night driving just south of San Pedro; picked up 15 saotres 7 of the Leptotyphlops, including 5 hatchlings, 1 yearling, and 1 adult. Got our 3rd DOR Lampropeltis. It's the 2nd to mirror lously live, though. Drove home bored and decided to go north tomorrow.
