Seib, R. 1984 Los Tuxtlas UWA to Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico 4 Nov. vestigial and empty. The fifth time I clung up there in mid-air I caught 1 J. That was the whole ticket. We sampled the gland and ate and parted and drove away at 15:00. I drove 11 hours, 386 miles, and got to Cuernavaca. There was no gas until Veracruz, and that side trip cost us an hour. Slept at 2:30 AM. Cuernavaca to Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico 5 Nov. Got up 9:30, had breakfast, packed and left at 11:00. Drove to Rio Mezcala where I went below the bridge to the house of Fidelicio Leiva Lopez and asked for his help to obtain Biges canaliculatus. He said it wouldn't be easy and that they would have to look tomorrow morning at 7:00. I encouraged him to look right away and they did get a few. They also caught a snake that I am unfamiliar with. It's a new genus for me and I don't even have a rough idea what it might be. I was dug up out of a bank of sand. I'll try to get it back to Berkeley alive for tissue just in case it turns out to be something new. We left at dusk and drove into
