We sadly said our goodbyes to the people at San Jeronimo. It's always really sad to leave after seeing them everyday for 2 weeks or more. We went to The bat-net clearing and set up nets early, hoping to get some bats right at dusk. At dusk we got 3 Carollia & 3 Glossophaga, nothing that Allison could make use of. It also rained and we ended up having to dry out the nets in room. Today is All Saints and we were netting near the cemetery. Hundreds of people were walking through the rain tonight wearing their best clothes. Wilbert spent a lot of time with us tonight. He wants to buy books to learn English so he can come to California. I gave him 5000 pesos and told him to buy some boots in Cacaohatan. He said he would [illegible] would write to me and tell me how the boots were.
