23 Oct. in glass pipets which took another 45 minutes. We managed to eat something at a restaurant near the hotel, the Quarter (carmelita) at 23:30. Went to sleep exhausted.
27 Oct. Wakeup 8:30 and had breakfast. Tired today after such a long day yesterday. Wrote notes and then preserved the specios. Went to the bank to get small bills. Went to Moixirang to confirm kit's departure date for this weekend. Then went to look for another place to net. Then went out to the fincas. Went to San Jeronimo where they only had 1 Adelphicos, 2 Geophis nasalis, 4 U. sebai, 1 Pliocercus elapoides. There was nothing at Monte Perla! This place has 6 more total species than San Jeronimo, and the people can't even find 1 snake since they destroyed their environment! Went to net at San Jeronimo; caught only 1 Covollia, 9 Sternira lilian, and a Mo(ossus (Molossidae)). This latter is the first non-Phyllostomatidae of the area, an insectivore. I saw a Ptychohylla on a leaf, a new frog for the finca! Went home wet and cold.
