Seib, R. 1984 Comitan to Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico 22 Oct. collated in the vicinity of where he would have been if we both took the same forts. The terrain is very badly cut over here, but small patches of forest exist. I worked 4 hours covering a 2 km length of ridge top at about 3000 m or slightly lower. I found 8 Bolitoglossa (resplendens?) under small rocks, ~ 4 inches across, the were not deeply embedded, on grassy slopes in clearings where 2 foot high bushes were growing. I found 6 Pseudoeurycea in forested sites. All these latter were either inside logs, under logs, or under the bark of logs.
