I lay about sundown and checked into the Hotel Presidente for about $30.00 a night for two people. It was warm and not too windy. I was anxious to get out to the highway, but it took more than half an hour to find it. La Paz is huge overall. Traffic is awful. I asked for directions several times, but each time I got lost. When I finally located the highway it was full of traffic. The first three miles of driving is city now. Anyway, it seemed warm, but there were no snakes to be seen.
After 45 min. I was ready to turn back. I had just gotten into the rocky area North of El Finado when I saw a DOT snake - I think it's an Eridophos steini. Shortly thereafter I caught a Trimorphoden, but by the time in front of me. Bad luck turned quickly into good luck and we soon caught a DOT Sonora mosavi, then a line Crotalus enyo, and a DOT Lichanura trivirgata in the rocks just past San Antonio. Drive on the flats, finding nothing. It was warmer in the rocks. Picked up a Hypsiglena and a couple of Chilomeniscus stramineus in
