Seib, R. 1983 8 May Bahia de los Angeles to Mulege, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Woke at dawn, beautiful colors. Woke again at sunrise and got up and showered. Picked last night's catch and drove away. Checked the rest of the traps today. Took a live Gerrehonotes multispinotus which I will bring back alive for David Good. He is changing their generic name back to Elgaris. Oh well. Many, many DORs from Guerrero Negro south. The car in front of me hit a 5-6 foot Pitughis. Incredibly beautiful colors. I would have hoped it died if I had gotten there first. Night-drove from San Ignacio to Mulege, seeing only a Cleopys and a Gatalies rebel DOR along Santa Rosalia. 9 May Mulege to La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico Woke up late, 10:30, ate, changed money, picked the dead snakes and headed south. The night-driving has been so bad that I want to go all the way down to La Paz where I'm hoping it might be warmer and less windy. Conception Bay was extraordinarily beautiful. I looked for collard lijards all the rocks from 13:00-13:40 but only saw brushwallas. It may have been too hot. Picked up two Matisphix south of Ciudad Constitution. Arrived in
