Seib, R. 1982 Tapachula, Chiapas, México 4 Aug of a quadrat. But once we made the quadrat, the people began searching systematically through the leaf litter for snakes. I only wanted them to look for snakes at this point so I could see if this size quadrat would be adequate for a sample of litter snakes. It was pretty dark under the coffee, very difficult to see. They didn't want to collect any more land it was beginning to rain. So we decided to try tomorrow. We only caught 2 Ninia seber and an Geophis Amiglen Athepias quadrivietus. They dismantled the quadrat because they said other people would steal the rope. We marked the four corners so that we could remake the same quadrat tomorrow. Just as we finished, it poured for about 12-15 minutes. We became utterly soaked. After the rain Allison and I drove up the road to a place I have lantern - walked several times. We are con- sidering examining habitat utilization in armans because I already have a lot of specimens from this setc
