Hastings Reservation to Berkeley, Alameda Co., California
24 Nov Woke at 7:30 to join's booming voice:
"Let's get at it. There are traps to be
picked up and breakfast to be eaten".
Really a shocker after 3 hours sleep.
I missed breakfast again; got up at
9:00. Walked back to the cabin and
spend a Spermophilus and another
cotton tail trapped; let them go.
Checked the live traps again, found
more of the same, and let all go.
Cleaned up the buildings, had lunch,
and headed back at 12:30. Dave and
Rosita and I followed Sandy and David
to Santa Cruz where we watched sea
lions (Otaridae) and sea otters (Enhydra).
Sandy joined our car and we drove
over Cd. Hwy 9, 35 and I-280 to S.F.,
crossed the Bay Bridge and arrived at
Campus at 18:00.
