Holmes,R 1963 C. mauri 15 jun Barrow, Alaska One flew at 20.0 m south Skroavik plot- goin, weak. Gave zsha - & [illegible] note. 17 june Two se - one flying up Decent - [illegible] plot gave a couple introductory notes (?) on a schrta - ehr - culvil was buzzy quality & was quite simile in Murrelet d. fuscicollis. 19 jun Saw at least 2 birds acting together - may + a possible third bird was heard saying the buzzy note (clear above). The day was cold + foggy - The 2 or 3- ground spent snow (the fine feeling (peeling - Stellw jet) - from instance when No 2 came together - No? cockerel fail (fear 2r?) [illegible] + the rumour feeling. Otters, too per No 8 piece saying a courtship display similar to Molt 1 fuscicollis - after every step were repeated to the relatable camera. The aerial display - on clear by Ditcher - in a heaven flight - where the bird's eyes + faces saw this buzzy & not other bird like call. While on ground, No 3 gave a feel note - white feeling
