Holmes,R 1963 5. E. marni 11 July Banov, Alaska Nest n-tried nids still being incubated- on The three least vent Mr & Mrs Mrs - the eggs. Today Mr & appeared som off Mr started his destruction display. She gave buzz call Note - 5za-yuuu or s-yuuu. As I approached the nest, Mrs walked all the eggs heading toward my starter swung oft rocks hill. As I approached close, he went int muffled, hummed posture - wet wing out from body (but spread horizontally) + drops - one on our fluttered as he moved 30 minute space. Late, he stood nearly whispering while I scanned the eggs. 14 July Not this a.m. with Yeggs, one / which were pipping. As Mr stood off to his side gave a buzzy zzzht, zzphht - or at time a single sharp bzht. He gave no destruction display today. - at 1000 15 July at 1500 today, all four chicks were hatched + were being brooded by the adult (Mr) 75' from the nest up in a small depression. 3 were banded, 1 was collected. 17 July No seen 1 adult or chicks along plot, 19 July 1st with active hood pohole two molt collected along UTA creek.
