5 June Barrow, Alaska
been removed. The Scales were lined with
Loose pieces/ grass, sedge + lichen. The deeply
Sun-Consolidated soils, The rotational break
while bottom & lower side of the cup - was
lost only 1/2 sec-(it was quite clear to
weasel I probably was thus disturbed.).
6 June Several Chorus or displays seen along
the west bluff / Colloge Slough.
See. collected. - Turns here is open
grass flat - with some small
mounds (1-1/2' wide) - covered with
lichen, + black moss(?). The SP seemed
to be more in these areas when vegetal
cover was removed - although they also
slept them on grassy plains.
Individuals were seen frequently between Barrow
V.O.T. Area - will be good place for collecting.
8 June One seen country (?) - took up - not spread,
Wing up - head feathers
following after another bird (?). - giving
modified mototboat call. - Later 1
individual was collected in the same area.
One individual seen Collected along E/S
Bluff.
Several chasing near Trepelna [illegible]

18 June Several in Barrow Bay - only (Cleophas) Weed.
