While churning, the pitch is usually even but is broken by "breath-taking" - cad sequence runs about 15-30 sec. - the c pause 1/2 - 1 sec - The hill then resumes. The whole performance may go to 5 min, usually not more than 2 1/2-3 min. However, during the churning, the pitch occurs. gives up for brief scenes - then drops back to an unobtrusive long hill. - While say. May be seen from ground, from perch a "telephone" wire (see today) or for hovering position. Bluff above Volmerel. E. road. at end 1 former towers. - 2 birds seen - on ground about 10' apart each feeding - one suddenly flew up, circled & landed near the other. Then both went into
