Ercanthes pusillus
22 July Barrow, Alaska
Now see during the last weeks, but I
fully fledged juvenile caught in
Daphnie this morning. - mauri - not pusillus
30 July Sep. juv. see along frost lagoon + on the
parts with 1 Bimul- in company with
E. mauri. Some aggressive activity
was noted between indiv. (The
species with mauri juv's.) This
consisted of short chase with head
lowered forward, wings stretched
out. The second along snow
patch - 10' - dia - when 5 birds
(3 pus., 2 mauri) were spread
out. Whenever 2 came into
contact, they would assume
posture to drive one the other
out. This went for 5-10 min.
2 Aug - See see - in gravel pool (see No.1)
Brittan's area - there were juveniles)
4 Aug 1 Jun Sen + coet. - nec volt Ave -
it was brought unaccompanied by Ada.
9 Aug 6 Dnn Sen - In gravel area near
Brittan's Area. - along with 30+ Jun
