Holmes,R. 1959 Ereunetes pusillus 23 June Barrow, Alaska drum area. and four birds were seen chasing. These four were flying back and forth over the north end of the drum area. It did not seem to be a territorial chase for the area entered included a wide area from freshwater lagoon to the west to saltwater lagoon (mudle). The same bird was doing the chasing through- out the entire chase which lasted nearly five minutes. at the end, The birds dispersed in different directions 26 June Barrow, Alaska A pair was seen courting along the top of the rock ridge several hundred yards east of the gasoline line.
