Holms,R. 1959 Ereunetes pusillus 4. 17 June Barrow, Alaska aerial display. One landed on top of a "telephone-like" pole and was also noted standing on several 2 the drums. The aerial displays are still being carried on, and several Chorus were also noted. 18 June Barrow, Alaska 1500-11:00. Very little activity in the part of the small sandpipers. One was seen displaying near Redump. When it landed the wings were held up for a fraction 1 second and then lowered to normal resting position. 19 June Barrow, Alaska Aerial displays are still going on- and several aggressive actions were noted. No note have been found yet. The communication note between members of a pair was heard several times today. It was a whine, which was given frequent note the birds were on the ground. Also when they ever disturbed and flew several feet, they would utter this whine as a type 1 "defiance". 23 June Barrow, Alaska Two aerial displays were seen in the
